She did a post-Doctorate residency in Ocular Disease, Laser and Primary Eye Care at Northeastern College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Dr Bearden has been in practice since 1995.
Dr Bearden directed 2 laser centers and owned Visionary Eyecare in Pembroke Pines, Sunrise and Davie before coming to Fort Lauderdale Eye Care and Eyewear.
Dr Bearden has written numerous articles for Optometric Publications and also The Triton newspaper for yacht captains and crew.
