Dr. Dawn was incredibly professional, helpful and considerate. She talked me through each value on my lab results and explained what everything meant in the context of my life style and diet. She offered solutions, but also did not overwhelm me with changes to make all at once. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends, especially those who have not found answers or improvement with western practitioners.

Dr. Dawn Siglain – Parente is a compassionate doctor who believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself when treated with nature and understanding. She is a Naturopathic Doctor and an Acupuncturist having received her Doctoral Degree in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture with training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Bridgeport.
Combining both western and eastern modalities allows an opportunity to address patients’ needs in their own specific way. She holds her license as a Naturopathic Doctor in the state of CT and is a member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of NY.
Dr. Dawn’s path into wellness started while she was living in San Diego, CA and had the ah-ha moment of truly believing that ‘You Are What You Eat’ which led to her next true understanding of Hippocrates’s famed saying, ‘Let Food Be Thy Medicine & Medicine Be Thy Food’. Upon moving back to the east coast, her interests delved even deeper into optimum health. This led to her certifications as a Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Clinical education exposed Dr. Dawn to a variety of healing modalities and sees patients of all ages for any condition. Her specialties are autoimmune, pulmonary and renal conditions. She specializes in mind-body, homeopathy, exercise planning, and counseling in diet and lifestyle changes. Dr. Dawn is able to lead patients through their process of healing with support and kindness.
Billing is either self-pay or via insurance with acupuncture for out-of-network providers. NYSHIP accepted.
