After graduation, Dr. Adelman completed his pre-medical studies at Florida International University in Miami, Florida and went on to graduate from medical school at Nova Southeastern University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Adelman’s Family Practice residency training was completed at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida in 1995 and at became board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Adelman has been on the teaching staff for several medical schools including Nova Southeastern University-College of Osteopathic Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina, University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
In Dr. Adelman’s spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, teaching music and playing music as a professional drummer, and practicing Martial Arts in which he earned his first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 55.
