While I did enjoy speaking with Dr. Palmer. I feel his diagnosis was incomplete and I was left feeling empty after the appointments. My issue still persists and he basically told me to take some heartburn medicine and get over it, it's probably something I'll just have to learn to live with. This is unacceptable to me because I am young and never had this heartburn problem before. I will continue to seek help with this issue.

Dr. Dean Palmer's Office forward to me by email prior to my appointment date paper work to be filled out again even though I had filled it out online through ZocDoc. The papers they forward to me to fill out prior to my arrival required more detail than the ZocDoc, so I can see why they requested I fill them out. This was my first time to Dr. Palmers office and I was called in at my appointment time and sat with a Office Medical Assistant whom reviewed my paperwork I had filled out and as we reviewed it together, the Medical Assistant peformed data entry and created my profile so that Dr. Palmer could just pull it up. This took about 15 minutes and then I was placed into Dr. Palmer's Patient Exam Room where I waited no more than 5 minutes before he came in. He was very nice, seemed to listen to my concerns, did a basic exam of heart, stomach. Due to my issues and family history and my primary doctors request that I should have a colonoscopy done, I expected Dr. Palmer to schedule me for this. Instead, he addressed my heartburn and scheduled me for only an endoscopy of my throat and stomach. I was sort of surprised when the receptionist handed me papers only for an endoscopy. I asked if he scheduled me for a colonoscopy and receptionist said no, only an endoscopy. So I will address this further after he peforms the endoscopy. My guess is that he wants to see first if my issues are the stomach and small intestine area before doing a colonoscopy. Dr. Palmer was a bit unclear as to my colon area and I am 49. So maybe he is waiting until I'm 50. I will follow up further. Receptionist spoke very softly and her accent made it difficult to communicate. Besides that, everything was good.

When my mother felt ill I requested an appointment as soon as possible. I received exceptional service from the staff and was on the schedule for the next day. Not only was the staff supportive, but Dr. Palmer showed extreme care, and compassion. His professionalism and knowledge truly Impressed me and my mother received the best care imagenable.
