I was acknowledged as soon as I stepped up to the reception desk. After filling out new patient info I was called into exam room 5 minutes later. My appt. was at 11 am and I was done by 11:35. Dr. Konkol was very down to earth and friendly. After the exam I went back to receptionist and Dr. Konkol wrote me a Rx for a medication I was taking with 5 refills which I forgot to request so I thought that was great.

The office itself was not very clean, for example urine samples were left on the counter in the bathroom uncovered. Additionally the doctor gave me some pretty personal news but I did not feel I had adequate time to ask her all of my questions, and when I tried to find her after getting my bloodwork done she was no where to be found. I will likely go to another professional so that the additional questions I have can be answered.

The visit was quick and easy once I was seen. The staff can do a better job with communication. When I booked the appointment I booked it for 4:30p.m. I called the office to confirm the appointment and also to see if I could come at an earlier time. The person I spoke to told me to come in at 3pm. When I arrived the receptionist told me the Dr. had an emergency C-section (which I know is beyond her control) and she said I should have come at 4:30 (I came at 3 at the direction of someone in their office). The receptionist also told me she tried to call me, I never received a call. I didn’t have a bad visit, just a long wait.

At first I was nervous a bit due to reading other reviews. But once I got in the office everyone was nice and she greeted me and I know time is crucial so I know to be extra early. But it was awesome I'm super excited to be visiting Dr. Konkol on a regular as my permanent doctor.

The visit itself was quick and painless, however it was my first time seeing Dr. Konkol and the first thing she said to me upon opening the door was letting me know that she needed to be out of the office within the next 15 minutes because she needed to be elsewhere. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

I probably will not return to Dr. Konkol again. She came into the room and barely talked to me throughout my exam. She did not ask me a single question about my menstruation, sexual health, or reproductive worries. She did the exam, headed to leave the room, and turned around and asked "you came in for a bc refill, right?"AFTER she had done the exam. It's not that she was rude per-say, it's as if she didn't care, which I find offputting in an OBGYN, so I won't be returning.
