I went for a routine Pap Smear. At my age, I have gone to different OB GYNs for Pap Smears and this one ranks as one of the top three. The procedure was comfortable and quick! Definitely making her my go-to OB GYN for anything related to reproductive and fertility issues.

There wasn’t anything impressive about this doctor’s visit. This was my first time visiting this office, and the doctor seems to be very routine. She isn’t personable nor engaging. Dr. Johnson-Jordan performed my annual Pap smear, and wrote me a prescription for birth control. There is Nothing about this visit that would make me want to come back or consider making this office my 1st choice for gynecologist care. The staff/receptionists all need an attitude adjustment. They actually seemed nice & professional over the phone, but upon arriving, my frustrations grew as I had to wait an additional 40 minutes past my appointment time, because the staff failed to update my file once they verified my insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield. They also have crazy “in-house” rules. This office does not have depo readily available at the office, so I needed to pick it up from the pharmacy and have their medical staff administer it. Not a problem, as this is the same process with my primary care physician, however, I personally feel that the young lady made up in her head that I 100% had to come back the very next day to have the team administer the injection, otherwise, I would have to see the doctor again. I’ve never heard of such foolishness and I’ve been taking depo since my teenage years. This office is across town, and had no intention on making the commute the next day. I expressed that I would have my PCP give me the shot if I can’t make it in 24 hours. My comment was then followed by eyes rolls and and a sarcastic “Great! So, you don’t need us.”.... I will say the young lady that took my blood pressure was very nice. As a new resident of Atlanta, my search for gynecology care will continue.
