Dr. McIntyre holds a Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern Californa College of Optometry as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science with additional undergraduate studies in business administration and management. She has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1994 and has participated in many aspects of the organization, including serving as Vice President of her local society. She has received various awards for both her research in low vision and for her devotion to outstanding patient care. In the community, Dr. McIntyre is a member of the Escondido Sunrise Rotary and is the liaison to the San Pasqual High School Interact Rotary Club.
