More about Dr. Debra Parisi, MD
Dr. Parisi graduated from Duke University with a BSE in 1993. She majored in both Biomedical Engineering and Economics. Before attending medical school, Dr. Parisi worked at IBM. The work she did there was granted a U.S. patent.
Dr. Parisi graduated from New York Medical College in 1998 with several awards of distinction. She continued her training at the NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Residency program. In 2003, after graduating from her residency, she traveled to Seattle to complete the U. of Washington Upper Extremity Fellowship. Dr. Parisi opted to return to Manhattan where she joined the Orthopaedic Department at Beth Israel Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Attending at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has been in practice at BIMC since 2004.
She limits her practice to the treatment of disorders of the upper extremity.
