My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, open, and collaborative environment. Moreover, my responsibility is to help you feel heard, be present, and build coping skills throughout the therapeutic process. I regularly use goal-setting, feedback, and progress check-ins in order to adjust and provide the most effective treatment.
I believe that psychotherapy provides us the unique opportunity to lead with compassion and hold space for individuals to explore their experiences, and find ways to both understand and cope with their difficulties in a manner that enhances their overall well-being.
I am a license-eligible clinical and forensic psychologist, providing psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment to adults with a range of psychological concerns. I have provided treatment and assessment in inpatient, outpatient, residential, and forensic settings.
I approach therapy from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. However, due to my experience in working with diverse individuals with various cultural, clinical, and personality factors, I often utilize skills and practices from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.
