Dr. Fukiau, is AMAZING! It's the front office that has poor people SKILLS, there's this one person in particular her name is Yernie Sorto, very unprofessional, very rude, and very impatient. I don't know if it's because I'm a black man and she's Puerto Rican or Spanish. First of all she does not have an inside voice. The waiting area has a few patients waiting to be seen by the doctor and she calls my name all LOUD what are you here to see the doctor for. That was rude now everyone is looking at me all strange. So I kindly whispered and said weight management and then she proceeds to say it out LOUD OH WEIGHT ISSUES! Then she asked for my payment I gave her my credit card and she proceeds to yell YOUR CARD DECLINED again people are looking and of course it would decline it was an American Express and she was using the Visa logo so I gave it to her again and the payment went through. For that reason alone I will never come back to this office because of the unprofessionalism.

Today, I experience customer service from a doctor's office I've NEVER EXPERIENCE! Dr Degache Fukiau, is second to NONE! This Dr. is a genius. He listened, he understood, he was knowledgeable, and he was very approachable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr Fukia. I believe I have found a good doctor in Dr Fukia. I am well pleased and satisfied knowing that Dr Fukia is going to be my permanent doctor moving forward. As a black man it feels good to find a black doctor that knows how to take care of black patients.
