Dr. Nunez received her medical education in the Dominican Republic’s Universidad National Pedro Henriquez Urena. She then completed her pediatric internship at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she also completed her pediatric residency. In 2005, Dr. Nunez completed her pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
