Dr. Derek Friedman is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY. In 1986 he moved to Tempe, Arizona to attend Arizona State University, where he received his BS in 1991. Dr. Friedman then moved to the San Francisco Bay area to attend Life Chiropractic College-West. While in study at chiropractic college, Dr. Friedman received extensive training in adjusting not only the spine, but also in adjusting the extremities, (Arms and Legs) and started his nutritional studies as well. After graduation, Dr. Friedman moved back to Arizona, where he practiced chiropractic and clinical nutrition. In Nov. 1997, Dr. Friedman moved to south Florida and joined the team at Golden Chiropractic, not only as a chiropractor, but also as the nutritionist for the practice. Then in June of 2000, Dr. Friedman opened his own practice in the city of Delray Beach. Since that time he has moved to his current office location in Boca Raton. Dr. Friedman's hobbies include weight lifting, Karate, which he has been studying since Jan. of 1989, acupuncture and oriental medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and health in general. Dr. Friedman is always furthering his education by attending seminars and doing exhaustive research to serve you better.
