I chose Dr Patel's office for my eye exam because my previous OD's offices had closed and I wanted to try some place new. Having been there as a first-time patient, I rate the office "the Cadillac of all OD offices". Not only is Dr Patel top-notch but the same is true of all staff members there. They are very patient, thorough, and helpful. The office offers several computerized eye tests to be taken with undialated eyes; this is an excellent use of computer technology. Dr Patel was able to give me 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other. Excellent in every way!

Dr. Deval Patel was raised in Southern California where she started her education from elementary school through her doctorate degree. She attended the University of California at Los Angeles, from where she received her bachelors degree in Physiological Sciences in 1999. She then proceeded to go directly into optometry school at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA from which she procured her Doctorate in Optometry. Upon completion of her OD degree in 2003, Dr. Patel moved to her new home, Tucson, Arizona where she has been practicing optometry for over 10 years. Dr. Patel was the President of the Southern Arizona Optometric Association from 2005-2006. She thoroughly enjoys the multi-disciplinary aspects of optometry ranging from primary eyecare to the treatment of ocular disease. She adores spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. In addition to her time with her family, Dr. Patel loves to read, cook, and run.
