Dr. Devi is fabulous!
She’s an excellent doctor as well as a really nice person.
That is a rare combo.
The office is very minimalist and this makes it really efficient.
It’s Dr. Devi and 1 assistant.
Here, less is more. Patients are never told that something is being given to another staff member who is out today, etc.
Things get done and that is great.
Dr. Devi is pleasant, patient and down to earth.
I have 5 herniated disks in my neck and have been in a ridiculous amount of pain.
Not just in my neck. The disks impinge on nerves that also lead to brutal headaches.
I was in a constant fog from all the pain killers and still had pain!
I’ve been to other pain management doctors.
They want to make appointments to discuss other appointments.
Dr. Devi got to treating the problem ASAP.
She gave me trigger point injections and told me they can take a few weeks to work.
I was skeptical. But after some time, I noticed I had less and less need for pain killers.
As the expression goes: “the great thing about headaches is, it feels so good when they stop”!

Dr. Devi Nampiaparampil is a physician, researcher, and Associate Professor at NYU School of Medicine. As a teenager, Devi caught a dangerous viral infection that caused the failure of her heart, lungs, and bone marrow. After recovering, she was inspired to go into medicine and entered the combined B.A./ M.D. program at Northwestern University. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship training through Harvard Medical School. Dr. Devi spent several years with the Department of Veterans Affairs directing and developing programs to treat wounded soldiers with severe chronic pain. She has over 50 publications– including over 20 in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr. Devi has won awards from Harvard University, the American Medical Association, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She was named one of the top physicians in the country by Castle Connolly and New York Magazine. Her high school, Ardsley High School, through the generous support of Dr. Adam B. Stein and family, gives out a yearly award in her honor to the graduating student who has shown strength and resilience in the face of overwhelming obstacles.
