The office is quaint and has an area for kids to play in (also a pediatrician in there) for some reason they never received my information or appointment from zocdoc. they explained they have had a few glitches such as having appointments double booked between their office system and zocdoc. They were quick to accomodate and had me fill out forms. I waited for about 20-30 mins after handing in my forms before being seen. His assistant asked a few questions then the doctor came right in after she finished. Dr. Jourdy was very patient, knowledgable and professional. They have high-tech equipment (scope hooked up to the TV, etc), he explained the whole process and detailed what he had found. He sent the prescription to my pharmacy by computer.Overall I had a great experience and plan on going back.

. Deya Jourdy, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. A magna cum laude graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Jourdy graduated medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He then completed his joint residency at the Columbia University and Cornell University campuses of the New York Presbyterian Hospital (where he received the prestigious Distinguished Housestaff Award for exemplary service), and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. After his residency, Dr. Jourdy completed additional sub-specialty training at an internationally recognized premiere fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, devoted exclusively to the treatment of advanced sinus disease and minimally invasive skull base and orbital surgery, at the University of Miami.
Dr. Jourdy has significant experience with newer minimally invasive approaches to the sinuses, anterior skull base and brain, pituitary gland, and orbits (eyes), to treat disorders in these regions without external incisions. He has had extensive training in utilizing minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of sinonasal disease, such as sinusitis, deviated nasal septums, epiphora (excessive tearing), inferior turbinate hypertrophy, mucoceles, nasal obstruction, nasal polyps, nose bleeds, orbital disease due to Grave’s disease, smell and taste disorders, and tumors (benign or malignant). In addition, Dr. Jourdy has had extensive training in minimally invasive base of skull surgery for the treatment of cerebrospinal fluid leaks, encephaloceles, meningoceles, pituitary tumors, and skull base tumors/lesions.

The staff were all very friendly, courteous and professional. Both Dr. Jourdy and the nurse explained everything thoroughly and what to expect. The long wait time was explained as having been due to an emergency, which I can very well understand.

I was impressed with equipment used, he had the camera and a large screen tv that showed me everything in my sinus cavities. The office was beautiful, even had a playroom for children, but the wait time was excessive, especially since I was a first time patient. Staff were not rude but not super welcoming either.
