Dr. Dhaval Shah has over 13 years of experience practicing Internal Medicine, Primary Care and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Shah received his residency training in Internal Medicine from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed medical education from Government Medical College, an urban medical center serving the city of Surat in Western India. He was valedictorian in all three professional examinations during his medical school career.
Primary Care is Dr.Shah’s passion. He loves being at the front line of medicine and helping patient with diverse range of problems. He believes that a good primary care doctor with a strong patient-physician relationship can make healthcare quick, simple and cost-effective.
In addition of Internal Medicine, Dr.Shah practices Sleep Medicine. He has keen interest in treating sleep related breathing disorders.
Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Before starting Peach Clinic, Dr.Shah has been practicing medicine in Metro Atlanta area for more than 10 years.
Other than English, Dr. Shah is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu.
Dr. Shah is third generation physician in his family following the footsteps of his grandfather and father. He lives in suburban Atlanta with his wife, a pediatrician; school age son and his parents, both retired physicians. In his free time, he enjoys photography, poetry

He is very kind and caring. There was a few more health issues I wish we could have covered that I needed help with but I'm sure that our next visit he will help me with that. This visit we just focused on mental health but that's okay and I do know that he is aware that I'm dealing with some severe issues with sciatica and neuropathy that I know that we'll deal with next time.

Everyone at the office is pretty nice, but the Doctor himself was tired when I saw him. He was yawning and it seemed like he was kind of lazily listening to what I was saying. I didn’t have his full attention & I could tell he kind of got frustrated with me when I wanted further explanation of something involving my issue.
