Diana Prieto, MD, is a board-certified adult and child & adolescent psychiatrist in Austin, TX. She is fluent in Spanish and has a special interest in minority populations' mental health. She spent part of her psychiatry training working closely with the refugee population in Houston, TX, and continues to provide evaluations for people seeking asylum.

There's room for improvement in regards to being flexible with medication management. I think it's important that as a provider you also take into consideration your patient's wants/needs. For example, when I visit my PCP I feel considered and heard when I express a want/need for treatment, of course in an ethical matter.
