I Moved to Arizona from Illinois and I was searching for a new Primary Care clinic and doctor. I did a google search and the Barbee Clinic was one of the places that was in the search. After a lot of research, I choose Diane Amini, NP because of her review and her medical credentials. Before my telemed appointment, I submitted my last Labs and office visit from my previous doctor. Dr. Amini reviewed all my records prior and during my appointment. I was very impressed with her and I would recommend her to anyone looking for medical care.

***This is a very scary and stressful time for all of us. Our primary concern is to ensure all patients can receive the medical care they need in the safest manner at this current time. Temporarily, we have switched to Telemedicine visits in order to protect our patients and medical personnel from being exposed to COVID-19 virus. A telemedicine appointment can address the majority of medical issues and concerns with a face to face teleconference. It is very easy to use and patient feedback has been positive. New patients can access the new patient packet online or request it from the office.

Diane Amini is a family nurse practitioner originally from Chicago, Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing at Elmhurst College. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Adult Critical Care concentrating in Cardiac and Trauma at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and then the University of Arizona Medical Center. She then obtained her Masters of Science degree and training as a Family Nurse Practitioner at The University of Phoenix. As a nurse practitioner, she has been practicing in family medicine caring for patients of all ages. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and walking her two dogs.

My first appointment I scheduled got rescheduled without being asked.. which wouldn’t work with my job so I had to use the little bit of time off I had available.. I made sure they could remove my implanon IUD but then when I got to the appointment they said they don’t do them they can only do the other kind but not the one in your arm.. so I wasted my time off and still have expired birth control in my arm. I waited 30 minutes to be seen so I didn’t even get to use any of the time to do something else productive. Just unimpressed and disappointed.

She gave me a recommendation for a good psychiatrist and scripts for mammogram and my asthma. She was very kind and caring. Excellent bedside manner. I would highly recommend her.
