My yearly appointment with Dr. Vista-Deck was another great experience. A week prior to my appointment, I received a phone call to ensure my insurance would cover the appointment since the receptionist realized the yearly appointment for 2021 was Dec 27 when my 2020 yearly was Dec 28th. She wanted to make sure I would be covered and not double charged for a yearly exam if it was a 365-day plan instead of calendar year. Everything worked out, but I appreciated the attention to detail and ability to decide for myself if I needed to reschedule, with plenty of time in advance. Thanks again, Hutzel Women's Health Specialists!

Dr. Vista-Deck graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine. After residency, she joined the Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty where she spent many years teaching residents and increasing her patient base. She loves working at Hutzel Women’s Health Specialists and continues to be very active in resident teaching. Dr. Vista-Deck decided to become a pediatrician at a very young age. As her medical career flourished, she realized that women’s health was her primary passion. Sharing the excitement of pregnancy and the amazement of childbirth is a compelling reason to get up every day—and even in the middle of the night. She believes in empowering women of all ages to be proactive in their health. Her primary interests include routine and high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, and perimenopausal/postmenopausal care. When Dr. Vista-Deck isn’t seeing patients, she and her husband, Mike, can be found watching and participating in their children’s activities, including sports, dance, boating, skiing, and snowboarding. She dedicates one week each year to the poor of the Philippines, participating in a medical/surgical mission where she performs gynecologic surgeries and assists general surgeons and plastic surgeons.

Really appreciated Dr's attention to context and history, making me comfortable and heard as a new patient. Dr. Vista-Deck was AMAZING! She put me totally at ease, and was so friendly and welcoming. She removed my IUD so expertly and with such minimal discomfort, and answered all my questions about trying for pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr. Vista-Deck!
