Dianna’s approach to practice is guided by the acknowledgment that, even at the individual level, we are addressing a need within a system, and so we have to consider and care for the whole system, or whole person. This includes implementing individualized interventions in a patient-centered manner. Patient-centered care involves learning and including the patient’s health beliefs, providing psycho-education, motivational interviewing, and encouraging autonomy with equal partnership in care planning and decision-making. After caring for the need and systems within a person, it is also important to consider the patient’s functioning within their family, daily living system, and surrounding environment, as those facets affect the station of a person. Dianna strongly believes that psychiatric care should be grounded in compassion, patient-centered, and facilitated by open, honest.

Diana Smith prescribed me a medication with severe withdrawal consequences, then failed to communicate with me the risks of the medication before unceremoniously disappearing.
The office is wildly disorganized. I'd book an appointment, only to wait for an hour in the virtual waiting room. Calls go unanswered. Their messaging system has a 3 day turn around, but often these messages are ignored. Appointments were scheduled, only for the link to the meeting to never appear.
If you were wondering why she has so much availability, it's because she's a novice provider, in way over her head, deeply ineffective at managing her patients, severely incompetent as a communicator, slow to respond and even slower to run her due diligence on the medications she prescribes.
Don't walk, run. I could never have imagined that working with this doctor would have been as ruinous as it was.
