I am dual board certified in Child/Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry. I treat a vast array of psychiatric ailments including but not limited to attention problems, mood issues, poor self esteem, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, "social awkwardness" and behavioral problems.
After the initial evaluation, I will make recommendations for treatment whether its therapy, medication or both. I thoroughly evaluate my clients to devise an individualized treatment plan. I have extensive experience utilizing cognitive and behavioral therapy and believe in using medications only when necessary.
My goal is to maximize quality of life and productivity of my clients; whether it is at school, work or social setting. I strive hard to promote seamless transition of care from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. I will make referrals as needed in order to provide best care possible.
