I have seen a few GI doctors and Dr Domenica Barritta is by far the best one. She is always happy to explain things to me and answer any of my questions. She isn't a doctor that will just prescribe you a drug but takes her time in suggesting healthier eating habits that can help with your symptoms.

I absolutely love Dr. Barritta. She was kind, understanding and extremely thorough in her explanation and recommendations on go forward care. I would absolutely recommend her. I do wish the wait time was less because it was 2 hours before I was seen but I feel her care is worth the wait time.

I have been having stomach issues and after a 30 minute consultation of the Dr. talking, no physical assessment, they wanted to schedule an endoscopy. This was very expensive and I asked if could do a blood allergy test instead which they denied. I was then charged over way too much for my consultation that lead me nowhere. I dont think doctors should be able to charge so much just for speaking with the patient about their issues/concerns.

Dr. Barritta was condescending and unprofessional. Although an ultrasound indicated I have a 12mm calculus in the midline of my right kidney (which would clearly explain the discomfort on my right side and mid back) she told me it was “small” asymptomatic, and recommended that I come back into her office for an upper endoscopy! A 12mm kidney stone is not small. Keep in mind endoscopies are the only procedures performed in her office and I found it strange that the three people ahead of me were also prescribed an upper endoscopy. Even though the ultrasound clearly illustrated and outlined that I am experiencing a renal issue, she did not recommend that I go see a nephrologist. Instead she ordered an upper endoscopy. The wait time was in excess of 30mins, her attitude was very unprofessional, and she completely lacked a sense of empathy.

Doctor is good. To get the prescription fax to my pharmacy is taking forever. Front desk person is not helpful. I need medication and the delay is frustrating. I asked for prescription while I was there, she said no try the samples and nbn then will fax your pharmacy. It's been a week, my pharmacy has not received the prescription.

Dr. Barritta performed my first colonoscopy, which of course I was very nervous and uncomfortable. After the initial consultation I felt more at ease and not as nervous about the colonoscopy. It was a breeze! All the worrying for nothing!

The doctor was good but the wait time was over an hour and half- hour and half was just too much. We sat there for so long with no updates just ‘she is on her way’. After waiting OVER hour and half the appointment was about 10 minutes she is nice and did help but I wish I could recommend her however with that kind of wait time it is difficult.

I came to the doctor with a history of gastrointestinal problems and a lot of knowledge already under my belt. First off, there was no physical examination even though I was complaining of pain in a specific area. We spoke for a brief period of time and the conversation did not seem to be tailored to my situation. She gave me very basic recommendations that I already knew, and went straight to recommending a colonoscopy (even though my symptoms were unrelated to the colon).

Loved her! Prepare to wait a few minutes past your apt time. I? honestly find that normal for most apts anywhere. That said, when it’s your apt time you will respect the deep dive she takes.

Patients should be informed upfront if the doctor is performing procedures in another location on that date. The doctor should also give her receptionist, the directive to inform patients if the doctor is running more than 30 minutes late. It appears rude if patients are not informed and potentially stressful if they have other obligations ie: children to pick up after school etc...

Dr Barritta was unbelievably sweet and helpful. Very easy to talk to, asked all the right questions and scheduled further tests right away. Best doctor visit I've ever had.

She's sweet but as a provider going to her as a specialist being in her office is a poor judgment based on her receptionist is typical rude person .... does not understand insurance policies or laws in place of insurance protocols and the insurance company state they have 3 days to obtain the referral she basically tried to refuse me and state that their office policy is different while the insurance company states by law their suppose to see you once their in network ... I will never return and hope if your looking for professionalism this is not the place

This is my first time visit. I know I had to fill out paperwork so I arrived early. However the doc was running late by 60min n I felt I was rushed with my time with the doc. My overall experience was so so ok. I'm going to stick my primary care physician medical group from now on

Excellent consultation. She took time to review my medical history, listened to my concerns and offered a thorough plan of action. I never felt like I was being rushed to get to the next patient or that needless medicine was being thrust upon me. I've seen various specialists on 3 continents for recurring stomach issues and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Dr. Barritta was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable! She did not rush my consultation and gave me all the time I needed. However, the office should take that into account when scheduling appointments. I was tired from work and had to wait over an hour in the waiting room before getting called in.
