Before my appointment I was able to fill out my new client intake paperwork at home for a faster and more convenient check in process. Dr. Carter was wonderful. He listened to my concerns and cane up with a plan for treatment that would ease my worries. His staff was so friendly and kind. I overall had a great experience.

Dr. Carter is awesome! His office and staff are all great....sad that the up and coming doctors can't be more like Dr. Carter - hard to find a doctor in 2018 that wants to help you rather than fill his pockets full of cash. Dr. Carter cares about YOU and honestly, he is the one of nicest guys that I have ever met! He didn't push surgery, gave me the option and I am thankful that I went ahead with the procedure - can breathe better and don't wake up with a stuffy nose. Thank you, Dr. Carter!

Donald R. “Pete” Carter, M.D.
Dr. “Pete” Carter was born and raised in Pennsylvania. His father nicknamed him Pete and that has stuck throughout his life.
He attended Muhlenberg College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pennsylvania State University – College of Medicine.
Dr. Carter did his internship and residency in general surgery at M.S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He then came to Colorado to finish his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Carter is Board Certified in the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He has practiced in the Denver area for more than thirty years and specializes in Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, disorders of the ear, nose and throat. He is an expert in both adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions as well as head and neck cancer, sleep disorders, nasal and sinus disorders.
Dr. Carter is an avid golfer and enjoys golfing vacations along with his lovely wife Joanne. He has two daughters that reside and attend college in Texas.
Dr. Carter is a man who believes in quality patient care and his patients highly recommend him to their family and friends.

The nurses were spectacular and the wait time was very minimal. Dr. Carter was very flippant and didn't seem thorough. Told me to take pills without asking about my diet or any other aspects that would contribute to the acid reflux he suspected. Wanted to schedule a 'check up' without a real valid reason and spent about 3-4 minutes total in the room with me. Everything wrong in the medical profession in my opinion.
