Dr. Kitain moved to Michigan for his Ear, Nose & Throat training, over 25 years ago. He holds a Bachelor degree from Indiana University, a Masters degree from Ohio State University, and a Medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1976. After practicing Family Medicine, which included obstetrics for six years, he began his Ear, Nose & Throat/Facial Plastic Surgery Residency in Pontiac, MI.
Dr. Kitain has spent countless hours at post-graduate seminars and believes that continuing education is an important factor in allowing him to offer patients the most up to date medical care available. Dr. Kitain considers good health part of his lifestyle as well as his career. He is constantly striving to learn and grow while staying on the forefront of new technology. As an example, he was the first Michigan physician to utilize the Harmonic Scalpel technique for tonsillectomies.

They got me right in today after I called. I had 2 nose bleeds & needed help.

My anxieties regarding being seen by an ENT was ill gotten. The office staff that attended me was, of course, professional but above that they were very patienyt friendly. The doctor was gentle speaking and calm. He explained his exam and the procedures he had to do with a very professional yet not over -my-head explanation. I am very satisfied with the results of my visit to Dr. Kitain's office.
