Dr. Hughes is great! Absolutely pays attention and is able to do X-rays and blood work all in the same office. Nicole - the receptionist could be upgraded as her lack of information, lack of interest and overall attitude has a lot to be desired but thankfully doesn't translate to the doctor. The wait time however is ridiculous. Over 2 hours past my appointment time to get in the door. I hope that isn't common.

The wait is over an hour. The receptionist had difficulty producing their privacy policy, which you are asked to sign acknowledgment of receiving this document. To that end, the policy has not been updated since 2011.

Again... This doctor has the best bed side manner, and the most caring heart. AND truly listens to all your issues. My mom died two days ago. He sat there and heard every word I said, offered advised, and STAYED in the room to make sure if there was any thing else he or his staff could do to relive the strain ,and help me with the added stress of my shingles .They reassured me that they are there for me, and it IF NEEDED ANY THING to just call. They gave my medicine for shingles. And even hughed me goodbye and gave me their condolence, For my mom's death. HE has the best bedside manner, a calming voice, and DIDN'T push me out the door so he could leave . AND it was their half day. HE stayed in that room to make sure I WAS OK.... IN MY BOOK he is an A++++ doctor. There should be a apple award for doctors, like there are teachers. He would win hand down.. Thanks staff and Dr. Doug for my less stress visit. YOU are the BEST..... I am a health care provider myself, and I hope after my do my boards I am just as great as he is.... Thanks for the example you lead, DR. Doug..... AND the trust you put in us as patients.... You are truly a hero... THANKS........
