Douglas R. Krohn, MD is a proud native Texan who now calls New Jersey home. He received his BS in biology at the University of Texas at El Paso. After starting medical school at the University of Monterrey (Mexico), he completed his medical studies in Valhalla, New York at NY Medical College. In 1986 Dr. Krohn finished his residency in family practice in Yonkers, NY and moved to New Jersey.
Dr. Krohn is board certified in his specialty of Family Practice. He started Piscataway Dunellen Family Practice in 1990. The practice has grown to become a very busy family practice office. Dr. Krohn takes pride in having established a busy office based on taking the necessary time to listen and communicate with the patients in the practice.
Since 1986 Dr. Krohn has been an active member of Somerset Medical Center Medical Staff. In addition, he also sees patients on a regular basis at various nursing homes and sub acute care settings, such as, Harbor Side, Raritan Healthcare and Bridgeway Care Center.
Dr. Krohn lives with his wife and 2 children in Somerset County. His favorite activities include family time, travel, reading, outdoors, exercise and staying up to date on current events.
