He is easy to talk to, cares about what I say, and explained my treatment really well. I recommend him!
Verified patient
He is very professional, listens well and orients himself in a new patient situation quickly. I find him knowledgeable (Head of Allergy research at the U of M) and open-minded (he is not critical of my alternative treatment methods; on the contrary, he shows interest). He is NOT afraid to take responsibility - gave a letter consult to another MD pertaining to my allergic reactions to certain medical substances when nobody else would. He is familiar with the newest treatments approved by the FDA like allergy drops, and willing to administer them but also knows of insurance coverage limitations. In a word, during the two visits I had with Dr. Douglas McMahon, I liked him very much, I will continue going to him, and I will recommend him to other patients!
