Douglas Weber MD is excited to be joining MomDoc Midwives in San Tan Valley as a supporting OB/GYN physician. He will be joining the team in July.
Dr. Weber was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. After high school he attended a combined 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri Kansas City. While on a medical mission in Africa as a third year medical student he discovered the rewarding field of Women’s Health. After medical school he continued his training in downtown Chicago at Rush University Medical Center. His training ranged from taking care of high risk pregnancies to advanced gynecological surgeries. After completing residency training he became a faculty member at Rush University where his responsibilities included general ob/gyn care, teaching and mentoring residents and students, and coordinating the Women’s Health Rotation for Physician Assistant student program.
Dr. Weber’s enjoys providing comprehensive women’s care and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Weber is excited for the opportunity to relocate to Arizona with his wife and take advantage of the great weather and outdoor activities. I look forward to becoming an active member of the San Tan Valley Community.
