I don't go to the doctor often and when I do it is because it is my last option. So when I came to Dr. Pickholtz he was very patient with me and understood my concerns. His bedside manner was great and I really enjoyed his personality. .

Took my boyfriend in search of a good primary care doc for him and Dr Pickholtz is my ideal doctor!! He is so intelligent and really understands. He does not make you feel stupid or ignored like most doctors do. Definitely recommending him.

Dr. Dov Pickholtz is a native of Cleveland, OH. After receiving a Bachelors from Yeshiva University in psychology, music and drama, he moved down to South Florida with his wife and children to complete his medical training where he graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Since then, Dr. Pickholtz has done the majority of his post-graduate training in Palm Beach County. He completed his internship at Columbia Hospital (now West Palm Hospital) and his residency in Internal Medicine at Wellington Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Pickholtz approaches all patients in a comprehensive and individualized manner, treating each and every person as a whole and multifaceted being. His patient centered approach is strongly rooted in evidence-based medicine and the principles of Osteopathic medicine and has earned Dr. Pickholtz accolades in patient and hospital acknowledgement. He is a strong proponent of healthy living and in reducing risk for developing illness. He is up-to-date and trained with the newest advances in medical science to deal with whatever illnesses may occur throughout adult and geriatric life. He believes though education, understanding and empowerment everyone can bring more fulfillment to their lives.
Dr. Pickholtz currently has admitting privileges at Delray Medical Center as well as many nursing homes in the Boca and Delray areas.
When not taking care of patients, Dov enjoys spending his free time with his family: his wife, four daughters, their dog and two cats. He also enjoys cooking, reading, solving puzzles and can even be found playing guitar every once in a while.

I chose Dr. Pickholtz because his profile says that he offers evidence based care, which is a breath of fresh air for me! I definitely feel like he listened and his was super friendly. I do not love going to the doctor's office and I usually wait until I am desperate, but now that I have a doctor that we like, I will not wait so long again! We even drove an hour to see him (not realizing the distance when I made the appointment) but we will happily drive that far again!
