As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Elmquist combines a wealth of knowledge, experience, and commitment, giving each patient the undivided attention they require.
Dr. Elmquist is an experienced, licensed ophthalmologist who is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of theAmerican Academy of Ophthalmology. "It is my goal to insure that our patients at Elmquist Eye Group receive the highest quality of eye care and service."
Dr. Elmquist served as an ophthalmology resident at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1985 -1988. He was selected as Chief Resident at Walter Reed and served in this capacity from 1987 - 1988. Dr. Elmquist was the Chief of the eye clinic at HomesteadAir Force base from 1988 - 1990.
Dr. Elmquist has been in private practice in Fort Myers since 1990. He and his wife, Carol, are the proud parents of Eric and Summer.
