Dr. Earl F. Hendrikz, DC, MRT is HealthWorks's lead doctor. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he attended Carleton University in Ottawa for undergraduate work and received his Doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. Hendrikz is a broad-scope chiropractor who specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries to athletes and non-athletes alike. If you've been receiving just "standard" chiropractic care and find that it isn't working, then maybe it's time for something better.
Dr. Hendrikz has specific training in treating soft tissue injuries that include Active Release Techniques (ART) and also the very effective Graston Technique. Additionally, he has a special place in his heart for family care having treated patients as young as 8 hours old and as old as 85 years young. He has had great success helping with a wide variety of complaints including migraines/headaches, neck and back pain, whiplash injuries, allergies, croup, ear infections and carpal tunnel syndrome to name a few.

Dr. Hendrikz' undergraduate education is in x-ray technology and he worked for many years in the medical field. This experience gives him a unique insight into the alternatives in care.
"Traditional medicine has its place but there are well-researched and documented areas in which chiropractic has produced phenomenal outcomes." At HealthWorks Spine & Sport, we use a functional approach for maximum effectiveness, combining therapies such as Active Release (ART), Graston, nutrition, joint manipulation and functional rehabilitation.
Dr. Hendrikz has provided treatment to athletes and non-athletes from all walks of life. He holds 2 Personal Trainer certifications and an Advanced Human Performance certificate from Baylor Sports Medicine Institute. Dr Hendrikz understands the frustration of injury and the desire to be pain-free.
