About Dr. Tuere Coulter
A Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Tuere Coulter, has made her mark in medicine and has become a highly sought-after physician in the Houston and Galveston areas. She is the owner of Family & Aesthetics Medical Centers located in Pearland, TX. F.A.M. is a state of the art, modern medical facility that offers a welcoming family environment with care, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia Dr. Coulter received her Medical Doctorate degree from the University Of Tennessee School Of Medicine and completed her residency training at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, TX. She then went on to complete an Obstetric Fellowship in Chicago, IL which allows her to be among a very small number of Family Medicine Physicians to practice obstetrics and perform Cesarean sections for her patients.
She left Baylor to join the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston as faculty and has helped to train both medical students and resident physicians for a career in medicine. The only African American female physician in her department, Dr. Coulter, a trail blazer, has opened the door for others to follow by being the first Family Medicine physician to perform Cesarean sections at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. In January 2017, Dr. Coulter was promoted to Associate Residency Program Director. In November 2019, Dr. Coulter expanded her wings and opened Family & Aesthetics Medical Centers. She has been recognized as “Top Doctors In Texas Rising Stars” for 3 consecutive years.
As a Family Medicine physician, Dr. Coulter, provides comprehensive care to the entire family from birth to care for the elderly. She uses her unique skill set to care for the “whole” patient with an emphasis on Preventative Care, Care of Chronic Diseases and Clinic-Based Procedures. Dr. Coulter volunteers outside of daily work routines by serving as a resource to the community at health fairs in Galveston and Harris Counties.

This is one of the nicest medical establishments I've ever set foot in, and is jam-packed with some of the nicest people working in the medical industry. The receptionists and assistants were sweeter than sugar, and my doctor incredibly knowledgeable and well-versed in her field. I did not feel intimidated or embarrassed in describing my ailments at any point in my visit, and cannot wait for my next one to begin my course of action. Top marks all around.
