Dr. Ajilore delivered my first baby for me 3 months ago - I went through my entire pregnancy under his care and he was amazing. Definitely very traditional, so if you're into more modern-day prenatal care and delivery, he's not your guy. He has a very laid-back attitude that may not work for you if you're not willing to fully trust him and just kinda go with the flow and listen to your body and the baby. Most questions will be answered with "It will be fine. We'll take care of you." and he really means it! He's perfect for me because I tend to over-worry but can let things go when it's kinda put into perspective for me. Dr. Ajilore treats pregnant women like queens - he truly believes there is no more important job than that of a mother preparing to give birth. I love him! Will have him deliver all of my children if possible!

- Rude He called me "the drum" and my partner " the drummer", pretty much saying I'm "getting banged". There was absolutely no medical reason to say that to me at all. I found that very unprofessional and demeaning. - Insensitive Every other OB-GYN I have gone to was sensitive during their physical examination. He was not as gentle as he could have been. While my exam was not extremely painful it was quite uncomfortable. Instead of scaling back the level of pressure he was using and trying to handle his tools more delicately , he had the nerve to tell me there was no reason for it to be uncomfortable. He doesn't even have a vagina to realize and sympathize with how delicate they can be. - Judgmental He thought it as his place to tell me whether or not I should be having unprotected sex with my partner, told me unless I was married I should be using protection. That is not any doctors decision to make. Also it was not told to me as a suggestion based in concern for my well being, it was told to me as if I was his daughter and he was pushing his morals onto me. - No Medical Explanations He did not give me and medical reasons why I shouldn't use tampons or menstrual cup, he just kept telling me not to use them, once again as if I was his daughter or niece not an actual patient with sense. Then told me ever women who is his patient uses pads as if that was a good enough reason. He was being pushy and seemed to be coming from a place of "preachyness", rather than concern. I have had other doctors tell me not to do/use things or that they weren't going to give me a certain medication and it was clearly out of concern, so the problem wasn't that he was telling me to avoid certain things, and I'm someone who has to always get their way. - He gives male OB-GYNs a bad name. He was like a sexist patronizing man living in the 50's who didn't realize that women should be talked to like we have sense and not like we are stupid children. He also doesn't seem to realize that his morals should not be pushed onto his patients and if you are going to be against something your patient deserves a medical explanation about your medical opinions. I will never go back nor would I recommend him to anyone I know.
