Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez has been practicing in the Miami-Dade region for over 10 years. He received his Medical Doctorate at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Thereafter, he completed his orthopaedic residency program at the world famous Case Western Reserve University and participated in multiple orthopaedic and hand surgery fellowship programs.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery. He has presided as president of the international organization, “La Federacion de Mano / The Federation of Hand Societies” and is an active member of the American Association of Hand Surgeons. He was on the board of directors for the American Fracture Association and has participated in and chaired multiple instructional courses both in the United States and abroad.
