Dr. Hillman is a native of Philadelphia, but now calls Miami his home. Dr. Hillman completed his undergraduate education at the University of Miami, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree in 1992 from Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, TX and subsequently completed his 2 year residency in General Surgery and an additional 4 year residency in Otolaryngology. He was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical academic honor society and was recognized as an outstanding medical student in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Hillman is a Board certified member of the American Board of Otolaryngology since 1999. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the following societies:
Houston Otolaryngology Society, since 1994
American Academy of Otolaryngology, since 1994
Greater Miami ENT Society, since 1998

I never write bad reviews...
But this doctor was awful. I understand that doctors need to attend to many patients and one shouldn't expect to have a doctor take the time to hear all your health problems that may or may not relate to why you made the appointment in the first place but Dr. Hillman was beyond rude. He responded in a very condescending tone and showed no compassion whatsoever...I brought my baby with me because he exclusively breastfeeds and I couldn't get the breast pump to work before leaving so I couldn't leave him with anyone , however I was receiving weird looks when I brought him with me into the exam room. He pretended to take interest in my 6 month old son by asking me how old he was and the conversation awkwardly ended there. Horrible bed side manner ...and though I was being made to feel like I was wasting his time I felt like I wasted my time AND a copayment. I want to think no one could be that much of a horrible person so I'm just going to assume he hates his job and only does it for the money or he was simply having a bad day.
