Edward E. Rotan Jr., M.D. was born and raised in the city of Loma Linda, CA. He received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies, graduating cum laude from La Sierra University in Riverside, CA. Dr. Rotan then attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Following his medical training, Dr. Rotan joined a large dermatology group in Southern California. He practiced dermatology alongside board-certified dermatologists who specialize in the Mohs micrographic procedure. He evaluated and treated over 30,000 patients with medical and surgical dermatology issues. He also assisted weekly with Mohs surgery in which he performed over 3,000 repairs including complex, full thickness skin grafts, and advanced flaps.
Dr. Rotan believes strongly in prevnetative health care. He prefers preventative methods for his patients using both lifestyle changes and/or mediation for the health related problems in their life.
