This was the best eye-doc experience I have had in years. She did a very detailed eye-exam which I had not got in past years. I have a very high powered glasses and it required a very detailed examination which included checking the retinal pressure and also taking photographs of the optical nerve. She also spent a really long time making sure that I have the right prescription glasses.
The office staff were also really nice and very quick in getting the insurance paper work in place. Infact they had everything ready even before I arrived. I also got a good deal on a new pair of glasses in their office through my insurance.
I will recommend this practice to others who are looking to book an appointment through ZocDoc.

Doctor Chung was great, and her assistants were friendly and personable. When going through lenses to determine my prescription, she was never noticeably annoyed or impatient when I asked her to switch been options where I was not immediately certain which lens was better. She is the closest optometrist my insurance covers, but even if I move and someone else is closer, I will definitely return to her office.

Dr. Chung was amazing! She was very patient, explained all the scientific info behind the different tests/diagnoses, and even gave me an extra pair of contacts since I was on my last pair! I was early for my appointment, but Dr. Chung saw me right away. She took the time to explain each test and its result as we went through the exam process. The office and equipment are all very modern and kept in excellent order. The staff was warm and helpful. I'll definitely return!

I was very happy with my experience at River Oaks Family Optometry. I felt Dr. Chung was very thorough with her exam, and she was patient and took the time to explain what she were testing for with each step. The equipment she used seemed to be a lot newer and advanced compared to what I have seen at other offices in the past. Dr. Chung is not only friendly and professional, she was extremely flexible in squeezing me in for a Saturday appointment since I work relatively far from her Santa Clara office. I have recommended her to several friends already! The office is also clean and newly renovated.

I went in for a problem in my right eye. Dr. Chung prescribed me some eyedrops and it feels better very soon. Great place to visit for your eye and vision needs.
