Elaine Shoji, MD, is board certified in Pediatrics, and earned her medical degree from Columbia University. She completed her internship at Children's Hospital and Research Center Oakland and her residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. In addition to receiving the 2007 Academic Faculty Teaching Award for the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Shoji organized the pediatric hospitalist program at Little Company of Mary Hospital. She believes in taking the time to listen to her patients and their families, and her mission is to achieve outstanding health for the infants, children, and adolescents in her care.
Procedures offered by Dr. Shoji span a full range of pediatric services. These include annual and monthly checkups, general pediatric consultations, treatment of fevers and infections, and pediatric vaccinations. Wart freezing, allergy consultations, flu shots, and wound care are also available.
