Dr kastner has been my ob/gyn for a few years now, shes a great doctor, friendly & makes you comfortable, her nurses , MAs and her PA i saw today are all great, always sweet . Only problem is getting an appointment, but the office and staff are worth it !

Elana Kastner, M.D., is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who practices at Women's Contemporary Care Associates and Winthrop-University Hospital. She is a member of the full time faculty where she is involved in teaching resident doctors and medical students and had been the director of the fourth year students' medical subintership for over ten years.
Dr. Kastner is active in the North American Society for pediatric and adolescent gynecology, where she has presented poster publications on issues pertaining to young women's health. She has a special interest in adolescent care and frequently lectures in the community about issues pertaining to young adult women. She has been awarded the Patients' Choice Award by the American Registry annually since 2008.

Disappointed. Long wait time in waiting room when only one other patient was waiting (almost an hour). When I was taken in, I did not get to see Dr. Kastner until the end of my appointment as I was seen by the resident instead for the appointment. I was never asked whether I want the resident to do my appointment. Office was old and practice is in the process of moving in the coming months. Only one bathroom which everyone must wait to use.

The staff at dr. kasters office is beyond helpful, I had quite a few issues with my insurance company and getting my RX taken care of, and the staff was so helpful and took care of everything for me. i couldn't be more greatful. and Dr. Kastner is very nice and helpful. couldn't be happier.

Dr. Kastner is great. However, she is way to busy/over booked. Unfortunately her staff is busy/rude and unhelpful. So the combination is just a bad experience. Especially well you are dealing with such a delicate topic of your body.

Dr Kastner is professional and empathic. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The wait in her office is way too long. I will have to request the very earliest appointment possible in the future. If an office is running more than 45 minutes late a patient should be informed

My visit with Dr. Kastner was great! She was very thorough, courteous and took the time to explain everything. The office was very streamlined in terms of filling out paperwork and getting everything in the system. The wait was a little long to be seen, but well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Kastner was thorough and engaging. She welcomed questions and I didn't feel like she was rushing me out of the office to see other patients.
I did wait a very long time to be seen though, when there was hardly anyone in the office. I'm hoping it was just circumstantial, as it was my first visit.
