Eleanor Walker has been working in the medical field for over 10 years. She started working as a Labor and Delivery nurse and Douala, supporting new families through pregnancy and as they started their journey to parenthood. She found her passion working with families, and decided to pursue a career as a family nurse practitioner. After graduating from University of California, San Francisco, she and her husband relocated to Eastern Washington where she worked at a farmworker clinic. She currently works at a community health center in Bellingham. She works with all age groups, and loves caring for the whole family. She strives to provide holistic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental patient care, and to be a partner in the journey to health.
She has volunteered in Nepal, Nicaragua, and Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She has two young daughters and spends her time outside of work exploring the beauty of Whatcom County, enjoying local parks and playgrounds, and embracing the joy and chaos of a young family. She is excited to join Orchard Clinic and to meet new patients.
