For close to four years doctors have been trying to figure what could possibly be wrong with the pain I was having after my hernia surgery. I came into Dr. Ocher's office described my pain and she said I know exactly what is wrong. She physically examined me and pin pointed and described exactly what I have been going through for these years. I am so relieved and pleased to know. There were times I thought maybe the pain was in my mind. Today Dr.Orcher knew and touched the location before I could tell her. In fact she didn't want me to tell her and went right to the area and described exactly the pain.
The worst. So uncaring, manipulatuve, and uncommunicative. Shoved a gown in my hand to change for an invasive procedure she literally did not even mention to me, let alone prepare me for or explain to me. Her approach was so blantant: "You're getting an injection in your spine or I'm not making any money off of this." And so condescending, treating me like an idiot--I have a Ph. D.! The absolute worst example of overt money-grapping western medicine I have ever encountered. She literally told me she did not have time to deal with my questions, and when I finally acquiesced (i.e. gave up on communicating with her), she said,"Good decision." And when I asked what exactly that meant, she responded, "Well, I HAVE to be encouraging." The experience was so horrible and offensive that I cried in the office, and I never cry. Needless to say, there was no empathy; indeed, I was told I was "a mess." Please find someone else--you'd be better off at a clinic or an urgent care facility, or not seeing a doctor at all.
My first time and yes i cried cause im scared of shots but she is a good DR. It was very good. She explains it the way you can understand.
Knowledgeable, thorough and terrific bedside manner.
Absolutely amazing , the Staff was very nice and the Dr was knowledgeable, informative and took time to explain everything step by step. highly recommend !!!
The office does NOT REALLY USE ZOCDOC! They did not have my medical forms, and I had to fill everything out again. Also, I had to make my appointment by phone. The doctor was lovely, however.
First of all, they never replied to my Zocdoc appointment. I had to call the office and then they allowed me to come. I have really bad case of sciatica, so they gave me several shots and prescribed pills all for pain, not to deal with the problem. They said if I still had pain in 3 days to come back. These shots did nothing. I call back on Tuesday and they schedule me another appointment for Friday. On Friday morning they call and say the doctor has an emergency and reschedule my appointment for the following Tuesday. At this point I've been in terrible pain for 2 weeks! I can barely walk. But okay, I'm reasonable. Tuesday comes and they call and say the doctor is on vacation!! They didn't now this in advance!? I am beyond angry. I have never met such inconsiderate, unprofessional and apathetic medical professionals in my life. And they specialize in pain management!? I'm never coming back and don't recommend that you do either.
Dr Ocher was not there so I was seen by another Male doctor who was very kind but I wanted a female doctor for my issue. She arrived just as I was walking out the door and insisted I come back to speak with her in front of him to fill her in. She was thorough and compassionate and gave me hope for being out of pain for the first time in years. She explained everything in detail and the entire treatment plan and has many methods beyond painkillers that I didn't even know existed!
Love her she is so professional and kind. Caring.
I will never see this physician again and would NEVER recommend her to anyone!
Dr Ocher was attentive to my issues and really gave me a sound curse of action.
I was a little disturbed when I checked in and the front desk had no idea about my appointment made with ZocDoc. They said I should have followed up with a phone call. To my mind if I have to call them then why do I need zocdoc at all? And since they didn't know I was coming I had to fill in all the forms that I had previously filled in online at your site. When I started filling it out, I got a text from your saying I should just tell them I've already checked in online. They said they didn't get anything and that i still needed to fill in the forms. And again I'm thinking, why do I need Zocdoc at all? The doctor was great. The staff at the front desk and the Zocdoc website/app? Not so much.
Dr. Ocher and her staff are professional and polite, not once making you feel uninformed with what will take place or unclear with what's wrong. There was a bit of a wait in the room where a procedure was going to be done, however, it was very busy that day.
She was very professional and thorough i was very pleased
good doctor was able to pin point problem quickly would have been better if she would have let me explain things more and not talk over me and for got to write refill for 2 of my meds
Doctor Elena is just incredible doctor... She is like a angel....but the receptionist is just not good at all ....she was so mean and confused ....but overall doctor is like a angel
If you are in legitimate pain, I guarantee this is the Doctor you are waiting for. She is a neurosurgeon who knows much more than pain management. You will be heard and you will be helped.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND HER- SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING AND IS CAREFUL AND PRECISE AND TAKES HER TOOK HER TIME TO ACCESS MY PROBLEM AND HELP ME CORRECT IT. I HAVEN'T FELT THIS PAIN FREE IN TWO YEARS. DR. OCHER IS A GOD SEND AND HER STAFF IS ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WONDERFUL.
EXCELLENT DOCTOR- I WISH I HAD FOUND HER BEFORE- SHE REALLY TOOK THE TIME TO READ MY MRI AND HELPED ME WALK AND FEEL COMFORTABLE AGAIN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY- SOMETHING THE OTHERS WEREN'T ABLE TO DO. SHE'S A WONDERFUL DOCTOR AND KNOWS HER STUFF!
Excellent Job, Answered all my questions and took plenty of time to go over everything
She's more of a salesperson for drugs than a Dr. who listens to her patient
Dr. Ocher is an outstanding physician. She is also very kind and caring. Her office staff is like family. I highly reccomend her!!
Before my first visit with Dr. Ocher, I mentioned my chronic pain to every doctor I saw (5+), only to have it dismissed as psychosomatic or write me scripts for high doses of NSAIDs that no longer sufficed. Dr. Ocher also seemed skeptical about my pain, at first, but she ran some tests in her office on the spot! This was a major relief vs. having to wait 3+ weeks for a follow-up with a doctor to discuss the results for tests performed outside the office. Dr. Ocher has very good bedside manner, and is gentle and considerate during tests or treatments that may be painful (for a very short period of time). A few months since my first appointment, my quality of life has improved significantly. I still have a ways to go, but I am so happy to finally be taken seriously and in the process of a solid treatment plan. My thanks to all the positive reviewers for steering me to Dr. Ocher. For someone dealing with chronic pain, it's worth the commute!
She is the best Dr.! Very kind, caring and top in her field!! I just love her and her office staff!!!
