Quick diagnosis, and what I liked best, she follows up on several possibilities simultaneously. Does not develop tunnel vision like many other doctors who get stuck on what they view as the most likely diagnosis.

Dr. Rumman attended medical school in Syria at the University of Aleppo where she graduated in 2006. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical Hospital in the Bronx, New York. In 2010, Dr. Rumman completing an observership in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Rumman is board certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and Syrian-American Medical Society. Dr. Rumman is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Over the past year, I searched to find a replacement for my retired primary care doctor. Dr. Rumman is very patient and efficient, helping me catch up on several issues that had piled up by ordering tests and referring me to specialists. Everyone in the office is also very kind and seems happy to work there, which I believe is an auspicious indicator that relationships are nurtured. A bonus was that their preliminary forms were quick and easy to complete. I look forward to my next visit and am hopeful that I have found the right place for quality care for me and my family.

Very thorough care. Almost no wait time. Much better than most places. I like the smaller office environment rather than feeling like a head of cattle going into a large practice that most the time gives you a NP or PA.

My visit went great! Both my doctor and nurse were very nice and made me feel comfortable talking to them. There was barely any wait time, I got there a little before my appointment to fill some paperwork out (which is done through a tablet there, so I love that they’re paperless) and they saw me almost immediately after. I find doctors appointments awkward and am not great at sharing, but my nurse was very kind and made me feel comfortable when doing the intake portion, and my doctor did the same when she came in afterwards.

She is a poor listener. I'm very forgiving, but this was just so impersonal. Dr. Elfat did not have patience when I tried to explain my health history (I tried as best as I could to be considerate, brief and to the point) and talked down to me. The only time she asked me any specific questions other than the basic "what's going on, when was that" was when she asked me what I thought might be wrong, in a very sarcastic manner. No hate--I was just uncomfortable with the lack of bedside manner the whole time. She even refused to add certain tests that I requested that other doctors have done with no issues. The staff was polite but impersonal.

It was very good and met my expectation. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no sink in the exam room. I did notice there was one down the hall.
