They have good hours. I got a Sunday appointment on short notice. But appointments always take a very long time. I would plan on 2 hours and not be surprised if it took 3.

More about Dr. Elias Gerth, MD
Dr. Gerth was born and raised in Southern California, and attended UCLA, graduating with a degree in Political Science. He then moved on to begin his medical studies at the Universities of Freiburg and Munich, Germany. He later attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and received his MD degree in 1978. From 1978-1979, Dr. Gerth returned to Southern California where he completed a rotating Internship at the University of California, Irvine. From 1979-1983 Dr. Gerth successfully completed a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. He became Board Certified in Internal Medicine 1982 and in Critical Care Medicine in 1987.
In 1990 Dr. Gerth was inducted as a Fellow into the College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM).
After serving for almost 10 years as Director, Intensive Care Services, Capitol Hill Hospital in Washington DC, he moved to Key West, Florida to be able to spend more time with his young family. Dr. Gerth has been practicing medicine in Key West since 1991 specializing in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Urgent Care Services. He speaks German, Spanish and English. Dr. Gerth has Hospital Privileges in Key West.

Everything was taken care of quickly. He is an amazing doctor. Very friendly. I came in as a self pay patient and his prices are very reasonable. All his staff is helpful & friendly.
