At our urology practice, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but because a variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.
Dr. Kurzer completed a combined Doctor of Medicine and Masters of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, where he graduated Cum Laude, on the Dean's List and in the Order of Omega honor society. Dr. Kurzer completed his Laparoscopy and Endourology Fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for kidney and prostate cancer, renal reconstruction and complicated kidney stone diseases.
