Dr. Elisa Yoo is a gentle and thorough dermatologist working in Los Alamitos, CA. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, where she also completed her Dermatology residency. Dr. Yoo completed a fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology and a second fellowship in Procedural Dermatology including Mohs and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yoo provides comprehensive skin care and provides annual exams, cancer screening, Botox and anti-aging treatments, and allergy consultations. She specializes in dermatologic surgery, including Mohs and reconstructive surgery, biopsies, and wart and cyst removal. With cutting edge technology in her office, Dr. Yoo offers many laser treatments and skin resurfacing procedures.
She is Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.

I went in for a routine annual skin check as my family has a history of skin cancer. The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Yoo took the time to get to know me and my situation and even gave me a prescription to clear up body acne that has worked wonders! Highly recommend this office.

Dr Elisa Yoo and her staff were first class all the way. When I was in the room, they made my visit relaxing and through. I know have a plan with the Dr and what we are going to do and a time frame. She had me stand in a robe & stood about a foot from me to "look me over" for my yearly skin check-up (lots of previous sun damage). My derm in PA would lay me on a table, look me over from head to toe w/a special light & magnifying instrument that gave her a closer look at my moles, skin tags, etc. How can a derm do a through exam standing someone up & just glancing w/the naked eye over their body? Horrible:-(

Also all the receptionist and nurse I interacted with were pleasant and knowledgeable. This was my first visit to the office. Everyone was extremely helpful.After checking in, I was routed to another suite, and was promptly escorted to an examination room. The nurse was very nice.The PA, Renee, was extremely patient and answered all my concerns. I met with Dr.Yoo, and I found her to be a very nice person. I look forward to my appt. next week, where I will have some minor procedures done. All in all, I was very satisfied with this office.

From the moment you walk into the office, everyone is very friendly and proffesional. I never waited more than 15 min. for my appt. Dr. Yoo is amazing! I love that she is empathetic to you. Bedside manor is important and she's the greatest. Undergoing 6 hrs of MOHS and she's always so positive and uplifting. I really respect her for so many reasons.
