Very rough with breast exam especially around nipples for what seems like extended time due to the pain and pressure and squeezing. My right breast still hurting around nipple area the next day. I hope it resolves soon. The mammogram would also show any masses anyway.
I am interested in addressing any issues I may have gynecologically and not as interested in hearing statistics and ratios of diseases, problems, possibilities. I would like to be treated as an individual based on my clinical data/assessment. My body has always been unique in many ways throughout my life and I rarely expect or see the norm. I do not like being put in a category and treat the category norms.

Came for an annual exam and to renew a birth control prescription, and Dr. Wyckoff was great. She was willing to explain everything and incredibly nice. No awkward feelings experienced at all :)

I had a new patient appointment with Dr. Wyckoff. First impression? Not necessarily impressed. I didn’t feel a warm welcome, or an interest in getting to know me as a person. Don’t get me wrong, she did her job to which I appreciate and will try coming again once more- I just didn’t leave my appointment feeling like a person but not more like a number. Maybe the whole office was having a bad day and the next visit will be better?

Dr. Wyckoff was extremely professional during my appointment. She has excellent bedside manner, and was extremely patient with me. I had a ton of questions that she was more than willing to answer without making me feel rushed. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Wyckoff!

Today is my 41st birthday. I don't have any children. This was one of the happiest years of my life. I've gotten married, and I've felt healthy for the first time in a long time. Five days ago I received a notification that my test results were in, so I checked them out. "Test results are consistent with menopause." There was no phone call with an explanation. I emailed to double check, and I only got a quick reply in return that she'd be happy to double check in a few months. That's it. Again, no call. This is how you let a newly married woman know that one of the most impactful things that has ever happened to her has occurred. I've been confused and in a deep depression ever since. It's a shameful practice.
