She specializes in Pediatric Dermatology and Pediatric Laser Surgery. Her expertise is in caring for skin, hair and nail conditions affecting infants, children and teenagers. Dr. Connelly has committed interests treating all forms of vascular birthmarks including Hemangiomas of Infancy, port wine stains and vascular malformations. In addition, she is committed to treating patients with atopic dermatitis, eczema, acne, inherited skin disorders, vitiligo and alopecia. Her advanced training in pediatric dermatology has made her an expert in pediatric dermatology and in laser and excisional surgery for the skin. She has authored numerous scientific articles and textbook chapters in pediatric dermatologic diseases. In addition, she has conducted clinical trials in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, acne, diaper dermatitis, hair loss and inherited skin diseases. Dr. Connelly’s love of public speaking is exemplified by her extensive list of speaking engagements at national and international Dermatology and Pediatric Conferences. Dr. Connelly is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. Connelly was born and raised in Miami where she obtained her medical degree from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. She completed her Dermatology training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
