Elizabeth is a certified family nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Her focus is on medical dermatology with clinical interests including skin cancer surveillance, acne/rosacea, warts, eczema, psoriasis and other skin rashes. She also performs minor skin surgeries and other procedures.
Elizabeth cares for patients of all ages and loves to see multiple generations of patients’ family members. Her philosophy is structured on providing compassionate care that is personalized and incorporates the patient as a member of the health care team. She works to develop an effective and efficient treatment plan while ensuring her patients feel cared for and comfortable.
She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University, then worked as a registered nurse in outpatient plastic surgery, dermatology and the operating room. Her exposure to dermatology motivated her to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University so she could focus on delivering dermatology care as a provider.
She has more than five years of dermatology experience and is a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
When not practicing, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, being active and trying new places to eat.
