Dr. Elliott Lieberman, MD, is a Board Certified urologist who has been in private practice on Long Island since 1981, following residencies at Mount Sinai Hospital and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Cornell University, and his MD from SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine.
Dr. Lieberman has been named in the Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in the New York Metro in every year it has been published. He has also been named in America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals, Guide to America’s Top Physicians, Guide to America’s Top Urologists, and The Best Doctors in America List.
Dr. Lieberman is a member of the American Urological Association, the New York State Urological Society (for which he serves on the Executive Committee), the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Medical Society. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Academy of Medicine. In 2015, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Dr. Lieberman is the Director of the Department of Surgery at Plainview Hospital, where he has also served as the Co-Chief of the Division of Urology, and as Associate Director of the Department of Surgery. He served for five years as Chairman of the Medical Board of Plainview Hospital, and is currently serving an additional term in that position.
Dr. Lieberman is proud to have been a founding member of Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC.
In 2015, Dr. Lieberman was granted a faculty position in the Department of Urology of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai Hospital Center. He also served on the Physician’s Advisory Panel on Healthcare for United States Congressman Steve Israel (NY-2nd).

I was very upset with the staff as well as the Dr. I thought he would have done more for my pain or gave me a answers on why I was having this pain but all he did was tell me to get a X-ray and that he will call. But they never did I had to call only to get a very rude lady on the phone telling me I should see a Different Dr.

I am always pleased when I see Dr. Lieberman. He is knowledgeable and understanding. I fear for the day that I am unable to see Dr. Lieberman. He is wonderful. I can't say enough positive things about him.
