I thought this doctor was amazing at doing her job. Everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. There was a problem with my insurance and the ladies in that department worked very hard to remedy the problem. The nurse I had was very personable and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Emily was very thorough and professional. She delved into my problem and instantly started tests to see what the diagnosis was. She diagnosed me quickly and prescribed me a multitude of things to get me taken care of and feeling better quickly. She was also very compassionate and had a great bedside manner as did her nurse.

Emily L. Staggs is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the dermatology arena. In 2011, Emily graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern State University with her master’s degree in the science of nursing and received the Outstanding Graduate Student award from Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. After graduation Emily became national certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She then joined a private dermatology practice in Shreveport, Louisiana where she provided quality medical and cosmetic dermatologic care to area residents of all ages. While practicing in Shreveport, Emily successfully completed the requirements and certification exam set forth by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board to obtain the prestigious title of Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP). For two and a half years Emily continued to practice dermatology in Shreveport until she accepted a position with Dr. Lance Henry at Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center and moved to Arkansas.
As a member of the dermatology team at Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, Emily provides general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services to people of all ages. At this time, she is available in the office Monday thru Friday and is accepting new patients and most health insurance plans.

I really enjoyed my visit with Emily Staggs and her staff. They were very nice to my children and I, which is always incredibly important to me. Emily was professional and made sure my issue would be followed up to ensure the treatment worked as well as to make sure it won't return. The last Dr. Who treated it did not make the same efforts, only for it to return shortly after. I was very pleased with there office and would recommend it to anyone in need of a good dermatologist office.
